Hero has revealed their new adventure motorcycle prototype.
Hero MotoCorp is gearing up for a more premium future in the Indian market. The bike maker revealed the new Xtreme 160R with a new design direction. Along with that, they showcased a new prototype adventure motorcycle with a high capacity 300-350cc engine.
The prototype uses a primary tubular trellis frame and gets inverted telescopic front forks and monoshock at the rear. For braking, the bike uses discs at both ends with ByBre callipers.
It comes with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear knobby tyres with spoke-wheels. Very minimal information about the specs have been revealed by Hero. We believe the engine displacement should be around 300-350cc. It is a single-cylinder liquid cooled motor.
The new adventure bike from Hero will benefit from their Dakar experience. You can expect the latest features with the bike like Bluetooth connectivity, digital display, LED lighting, Hero Connect, etc.
The new range topping bike of the XPulse family will be competing with the Royal Enfield Himalayan, KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS. The pricing is expected to be quite aggressive.
