Harley-Davidson X440 deliveries to commence in October 2023
Harley-Davidson X440 is co-developed with Hero MotoCorp and their first product. It was launched in the Indian market on 3rd July.
The Indian bike maker has now announced that they will close the online booking window on 3rd August. Test rides for the pre-booked customers will begin from 1st September.
Hero MotoCorp will commence the production of the Harley-Davidson X440 in September at the company’s Garden Factory at Neemrana, Rajasthan. Deliveries of the bike will finally commence in October 2023. The bike maker says deliveries to customers will be made on a prioritised basis as per booking dates.
Considering the high demand of the bike in the Indian market, Hero MotoCorp will be ramping up the production capacity, which is already in progress.
Now that the booking window will be closed, the company will resume the bookings at a later stage and the next booking window announcement will be made soon. The pricing too will be increased as the introductory pricing is valid for the current booking window only.
Those who are still considering to buy the motorcycle, you may want to book it before 3rd August in order to get the intro pricing. They are accepting booking on Harley India’s official website for a token amount of Rs. 5000/-.
The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in Denim, Vivid and S variants at an introductory price
point of Rs. 2,29,000/- (Denim), Rs. 2,49,000/- (Vivid) and Rs. 2,69,000 (S) respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).
The bike is powered by a 440cc engine, single-cylinder engine producing 27 HP at 6000 RPM and 38 Nm at 4000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
