Harley-Davidson has slashed the prices of the Street 750 by a massive Rs. 65,000/-. This makes the most affordable Harley-Davidson even cheaper.
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 was first introduced 6 years ago, in 2014. While it did well initially, its sales dropped to triple digits/year afterwards and declined further after the arrival of the RE 650 Twins.
The price-cut for the Street 750 is not a piece of fresh news, though. The little Harley has seen tougher times as it even got a price cut of Rs. 1 lakh, a few years ago. The price cuts seem like desperate attempts by Harley-Davidson to promote the declining sales of the Street 750.
The Harley-Davidson Street 750 boasts of a modern cruiser styling with a round headlamp accompanied by a small cowl, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, black alloy wheels and blacked-out treatment on all body panels. Even the 2-in-1 exhaust gets an all-black finish from start to finish, which enhances the overall look.
Powering the Street 750 is a BS6 compliant 749 cc, V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine which churns out about 60 BHP and 59 Nm of torque, and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
After the Rs. 65,000/- price cut, the Harley Davidson Street 750 now costs Rs. 4.69 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Vivid Black colour. For any other colour option, you will have to pay a premium of Rs. 12,000/-. Those colour options retail at Rs. 4.81 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
While the Street 750 is not the best buy for this price, people looking to upgrade to a Harley-Davidson surely have a deal on their hands. After all, it is still a comfortable motorcycle which does everything from city commuting to week-long mountain trips. Plus, you get the rumbling Harley-Davidson exhaust note as a bonus.
