With the launch of the Sportster S, Harley-Davidson will further strengthen its Indian portfolio
The market launch of the Harley-Davidson Sportster S will take place on 4th December 2021, as the American brand continues to increase the number of its offerings after partnering with Hero.
Globally unveiled in July this year, the Sportster S has stellar styling, tonnes of electronics and ample performance.
The bike is all about style and comes with a slim 11.7-litre fuel tank, solo saddle, wide wheels and tyres and twin stubby high-mount exhausts and weighs close to 228 kg (wet).
Visually, most of the weight looks to come from the 1250cc V-twin motor capable of producing 121 HP and 127 Nm of torque. The engine is teamed to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Featuring full LED lights, the Harley-Davidson Sportster S has a 4.0-inch TFT screen (supports Bluetooth connectivity and navigation), 5 riding modes, cruise control, and rider aids such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, front wheel lift mitigation, among others.
Riding on 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels, the cruiser motorcycle has adjustable Showa suspension and Brembo braking hardware.
When the Harley-Davidson Sportster S launch takes place in India, it should be available in colour choices such as Midnight Crimson, Stone Washed White Pearl and Vivid Black.
