Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight Special will feature cosmetic updates and will be sold alongside the standard Forty-Eight motorcycle.

The Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight features retro graphics on the fuel tank and black coloured wheels. The big change is the new tall-boy handlebar that not only raises the rider’s hands higher but also positions them slightly more forward that changed the overall riding position of the bike. The special edition of the bike is now priced at Rs. 10.98 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The fuel tank capacity on the Forty-Eight Special is 8.2 litres, and wheel size is 16-inches at both ends that come wrapped in Michelin Scorcher tyres. The 1202cc, air-cooled, V-twin Harley-Davidson Evolution engine produces a peak torque of 98.9 Nm at 3500 RPM.

Along with the Forty-Eight Special, the company has also launched the Street Glide Special. It gets the new fully-digital instrument cluster that features music, navigation, and other data. It comes powered by Harley’s 1868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine that makes 163 Nm of torque. The bike also features a large 22.7-litre fuel tank and has a 362 kg dry weight.
