With fuel prices reaching new heights in India and BS6 two-wheelers getting more and more expensive, electric bikes are gaining a lot of traction. Gemopai Miso, a mini electric scooter, is a new entrant in the market with a price tag of Rs. 44,000/- (ex-showroom).
The Miso e-scooter is a joint venture product of Goreen E-Mobility and Opai Electric. They are promoting it as a micro mobility EV in India. The company has started accepting pre-bookings of the mini electric scooter. It will be available across 60 dealerships starting from July. They are offering 3 years of free service with Miso.
The EV maker is offering an introductory discount of Rs. 2000/- with the Miso for all the pre-bookings. This mini e-scooter has a claimed riding range of 75 km on full single charge. The battery takes 2 hrs to charge from 0 to 90 percent.
It has a maximum speed of 25 km/hr. Some of the highlights include long travel suspension, hexa head light, LED battery indicator and a detachable 48V, 1 KW Li-ion battery.
The Miso is available in 4 colour options – Fiery Red, Deep Sky Blue, Luscious Green and Sunset Orange. There are two variants on offer – one with a luggage carrier with a load capacity of 120 kgs and another is the regular variant without the carrier.
The Miso doesn’t require any driving license to use or RTO permit. It seems like an attractive package for those looking for a small electric personal mobility scooter.
