The Range Rover Sport facelift has been caught parked on the streets of Frankfurt, Germany. The spotted test mule is heavily camouflaged but does reveal some details.
The SUV gets Range Rover Velar-inspired LED headlamps with LED DRLs. There is a revised mesh grille and the front bumper gets larger air intakes. The SUV gets revised LED tail-lights and a tweaked rear bumper with diffuser. The interior images aren’t available, but we could expect the interior of the Range Rover Sport facelift to draw inspiration from the Velar’s. The cabin is expected to feature the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, an updated instrument cluster and Meridian Surround Sound system.
The facelifted Range Rover Sport could continue with the existing engine line-up. 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol and 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engines will be offered on the base models. Also on offer will be a 4.4-litre V8 turbocharged diesel engine and 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol unit. The range-topping Sport SVR will feature the same 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol but with more power (567 HP). Transmission options include an 8-speed automatic and AWD with Terrain Response system as standard.
