Soon after the report that the Ford Ranger Raptor will be launched in India, the car has been spotted in the country. The pickup truck was spotted in Mohali.
It is still unclear if this is a test mule or a private import. The truck spotted here is finished in Conquer Grey colour. It gets all the exterior elements of the Raptor variant apart from those alloys, which look borrowed from the regular Endeavour.
In the international market it is available in Arctic White, Conquer Grey, Shadow Black, Ford Performance Blue and True Red colour options. Tell us in the comments which one of these colours do you like on the Raptor.
It shares the same diesel engine with the Endeavour. However, it will get a twin-turbo unit unlike the Endeavour offered in India.
The 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine produces 213 HP and 500 Nm of torque. It’ll come mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Very few units of the Ranger Raptor will be imported by Ford under the 2500 unit homologation-free allowance. Expect it to hit the showrooms by the second-half of 2021.
