Ford genuine spare parts will now also be available through an exclusive retail distributor in a bid to offer wider availability of parts to customers of the Blue Oval brand.
Ford owners in Delhi, it is certainly a time for you to rejoice. As part of its customer focus initiative, Ford India has commenced retail distribution of genuine spare parts in the city and appointed ‘Eminent Auto Parts’ as its exclusive distributor for the city. Located at 10/58, Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, New Delhi, Eminent Auto Parts will extend its reach to retailers and independent repair shops in the city. With the new retail distribution platform, the company plans to offer customers access to competitively-priced, high-quality Ford parts across multi-brand workshops as well as with stand alone mechanics.
With the increase in Ford’s customer base in recent years with products like the EcoSport compact SUV and Figo hatchback, the automaker only deemed it more appropriate for retail distribution of Ford Genuine service parts. The distribution centre in Delhi is first of the many such centres that the company has planned to launch in the future. With respect to other markets, Ford will soon be expanding its retail distribution network across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Eastern region of India.
Ford India will continue to offer its existing range of services to customers at dealerships and workshops including the Happy Pocket Service that starts at Rs. 2199/- and was launched earlier this year. In addition to the Happy Pocket Service, there are also other services like pan-India Roadside Assistance, 90 minute-Quick Service Bays, Mobile Service Vans, Vehicle report card and Quick Lane centre. Ford is trying to offer enhanced convenience to customers with the new retail distribution system that will also reduce the overall cost of ownership.
