Ford India will start accepting bookings for the Figo Aspire from 27 July while the launch is scheduled for the second week of August.
Ford is all set to enter the compact sedan space with the Figo Aspire next month while the bookings are open from July 27. The booking amount is Rs. 30,000/-, which will be accepted across all Ford dealerships pan-India next week. All the details of the Figo Aspire has been revealed and the only thing everybody is waiting for is the price. The American carmaker has done extensive localisation so we expect the pricing to be competitive.
Ford has hit the right chords in terms of styling in spite of having the sub 4-metre challenge. The front profile looks very powerful while the boot is integrated smoothly. The interiors are well laid out with beige and black theme, which makes it feel spacious. It has ample amount of space for all the passengers and some unique features for great convenience.
The Figo Aspire comes with SYNC system that lets you connect your smartphone seamlessly and operate hands free. There is a MyKey feature that lets you limit the speed, volume, etc. by programming the key. Ford has kept the safety aspect on the top by offering a segment leading six airbags on the range topping variant while also making dual front airbags standard across all variants.
The Ford Figo Aspire will come with four variants – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium +. There are seven colours to choose from including – Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey. Engine options include a 1.2-litre petrol (88 PS), 1.5-litre petrol (112 PS) and 1.5-litre diesel (100 PS). The 1.5-litre petrol comes with 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission while the other two get 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel fuel efficiency is claimed to be 25.8 km/l.
