This is the second retail distributor of Ford India in the country and the company plans to expand the same in other states as well.
Expanding its customer focus initiatives across the country, Ford India has appointed Eureka Ford Parts as the exclusive distributor for Ford Genuine Parts in Tamil Nadu. Located at No. 37, PM Towers, Greams Road, Chennai, Eureka Ford Parts will be reaching out to auto part retailers and independent repair shops offering improved availability and competitively priced spares for customers in the state.
This is Ford India’s second exclusive distributor in the country after the first distributor was appointed in November last year. With the new service, the American automaker wants to offer customers easy accessibility to competitively priced, high-quality genuine parts. The move has been made in a bid to reduce the overall ownership cost on Ford vehicles and will allow customers to repair vehicles at their preferred workshop. Apart from Delhi and Tamil Nadu, the automaker plans to expand the retail distribution network to Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and East of India.
In addition, Ford has a range of customer focused initiatives including the Happy Pocket Service starting at Rs. 2199/-, pan-India Roadside Assistance, 90 minute-Quick Service Bays, Mobile Service Vans, Vehicle report card and Quick Lane centre. The company has three significant launches planned for the year namely the Figo hatchback and compact sedan, as well as the new generation Endeavour SUV. The Figo twins are volume centric models and will compete against several established rivals in their respective segments. Ford’s new Sanand facility will also commence operations in the following months with the Figo twins rolling out from the new plant.
