Motormind Automotive Designs recently modified a Ford Endeavour, giving it a host of cosmetic changes.
Bangalore-based aftermarket tuner, Motormind Automotive Designs, has unveiled its styling kit for the 2016 Ford Endeavour. The front fascia gets the most prominent changes with a revamped bumper, small LED lights all around and a restyled grille that gets a massive ‘Ford’ badging, reminding one of the F-150 Raptor. Meanwhile, the sides of the car get more aggressive wheel arches along with black ORVMs and the rear gets black skid-plates and a bumper extension. The stock rims have been swapped for a set of Grid Off-Road wheels and they are wrapped around Maxxis AT-980 all-terrain tyres. No mechanical upgrades have been mentioned and we are assuming that the cabin hasn’t been tweaked either.
The Endeavour is offered with two diesel options- a 2.2-litre four-cylinder motor and a 3.2-litre five cylinder mill, with the latter producing 200 HP of power and 470 Nm of torque. Four-wheel drive configuration and a 6-speed automatic gearbox are offered optional with the 2.2-litre engine but its elder sibling gets both the amenities as standard. The particular model modified by Motormind Automotive Designs has the 3.2-litre engine.
The Endeavour is the most expensive model sold by Ford in India after the Mustang GT. It clocked up sales of 562 units in November, which represents about eight percent of Ford’s total sales. The reviews from customers have been positive, but with Toyota selling nearly 2000 units of the new Fortuner in November, the Endeavour will struggle to become the leader in its segment.
