Ford has silently added a touchscreen infotainment system to the Titanium variant of the EcoSport.
The American carmaker introduced a Platinum Edition on the Ford EcoSport this January 2017 which came with a touchscreen infotainment system as well as some minor cosmetic changes on the outside. Now, Ford has decided to offer the touchscreen infotainment system even on the Titanium and Titanium Plus variants of the compact SUV.
The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers DVD playback along with USB, AUX and radio connectivity. It also supports navigation, reverse parking display, etc. The engine options on the EcoSport remain the same. A 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol motor that churns out an impressive 124 HP of power which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, a 1.5-litre petrol motor that puts out 111 HP of power and is mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed PowerShift automatic, and finally a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 99 HP of power and is coupled to 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Ford EcoSport can be had in a choice of 7 colours, and the prices for the Titanium variants are Rs 9.09 lakhs for the 1.5litre petrol and Rs. 9.69 lakhs for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi).
