The Ford EcoSport Beauty, Beast and Storm concepts showcase three completely different customization possibilities on the compact SUV, but only get cosmetic upgrades.
Ford Brazil has showcased three new completely customized concepts based on the EcoSport compact SUV at the ongoing Sao Paulo International Motor Show. Called the EcoSport Storm, Beast and Beauty concepts, the custom models give a completely new look to the compact SUV, while there have been no changes made to the mechanicals of the EcoSport. An extremely popular model in Brazil, much like India, the three editions will certainly gain a lot of eye balls at the Ford pavilion. However, there is no word on when will they be offered to customers.
Starting with the Ford EcoSport Storm concept, the customized model takes inspiration from the iconic Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck. The front grille with ‘FORD’ embossing is a fantastic touch, while the front and rear bumper as well as the sides get rugged cladding for an off-road like look. In addition, the EcoSport Storm gets black finished front hood, flared wheel arches, body decals and 215/75 off-road tyres wrapped around 15-inch alloy wheels. Adding the finishing touch is the metallic blue paint scheme that compliments the overall look of the SUV.
The Ford EcoSport Beauty concept keeps things minimal on the outside, while the interiors get a major revision. The exteriors are rather classy and richly done up with the matte metallic copper paint scheme which is complimented by large 18-inch alloy wheels. The grille and bumper have been mildly revised, while the fog lamps have been replaced by LED daytime running lights flanked on the either side of the grille. Inside the cabin, the Beauty concept comes with 4 individual captain seats upholstered in leather with DVD screens for every seat and a new infotainment system equipped with GPS.
Lastly, the Ford EcoSport Beast packs in aggressive stance and is painted in pearl white shade that is complimented with contrasting decals in blue and red accents. Adding to the looks are the air intakes on the bonnet and roof, new LED fog lamp clusters, new 3-slat front grille and black body cladding on the sides. The Beast concept also gets silver finished skid plates at the front and rear bumper as well as the sides and rides on custom 18-inch metallic black alloy wheels.
