Ford Aspire facelift spied with cosmetic tweaks, it will get a new 1.2-litre petrol engine.
Ford is all set to launch the Aspire facelift on October 4. The compact sedan will come with styling tweaks, new features and a more powerful 1.2-litre petrol engine. MotorBeamer Ankit Dange has spotted the Aspire facelift in flesh without any camouflage and it reveals quite a few details about the upcoming car.
Up front, the Aspire facelift will now get a chrome surrounded grille, smoked headlamps and sporty new bumper with black foglamps housing. However, there are still no LED DRLs in the Aspire. The side profile remains the same apart from the new multi-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels. The rear only gets a restyled bumper.
The interiors will get a new dashboard featuring a new Sync 3 infotainment system which we’ve seen with the EcoSport facelift and Freestyle. It gets a 6.5-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Some other features will include auto climate control, keyless go with push button start/stop, steering mounted controls, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera, auto dimming inside rear view mirror, etc.
The Ford Aspire will now get a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 96 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque. The Freestyle shares the same engine and this naturally aspirated motor is a hoot to drive. It offers excellent drivability and performance. The Aspire will retain the 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is already a strong performer. Expect the prices to get dearer marginally.
