The official teaser video indicates that the 2021 Force Gurkha launch will soon happen in India
Force Motors has revealed that the launch of the 2021 Gurkha in India will take place soon through a video that it posted online.
The short video shows online posts of potential Force Gurkha customers asking the carmaker about the launch of the BS6 variant of the off-roader.
Responding to the their queries, Force Motors has stated in the video – “We’ve heard you. You’ll have your answer soon.”
The description also reads along the same lines, for it goes like this – “We can totally understand your excitement! We’re almost there!”
Since Force Motors displayed the BS6-compliant off-roader at the 2020 Auto Expo, development mules of the same have been caught out on public roads numerous times.
Recently, images of few of the car’s brochure leaflets also got leaked online, leaving Force Motors with no option but to put the vehicle on sale in the market without any more delays.
According to the leaked images, the finished article will look exactly the same as the Gurkha shown the Auto Expo last year. Thus, the LED headlights, new alloy wheels will be retained as is.
Customers will have at least 1 dual tone colour scheme to pick, while inside, Force Motors will offer a touchscreen infotainment system, and more creature comforts than in the previous Gurkha.
It will draw power from a 2.6-litre turbo diesel engine putting out a maximum of 90 BHP and 260 torques, while a 5-speed manual will send the motor’s power to driven wheels.
Of course, it will come equipped with the necessary hardware to facilitate proper off-roading and when the 2021 Force Gurkha India launch takes place, the 2021 Mahindra Thar will have a worthy rival.
