The Ferrari FF has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 3.42 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The first Ferrari to feature 4-wheel drive, the FF has the first GDI V12 to be coupled with the seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox. This Ferrari motor produces 660 BHP of power at 8,000 RPM, and 683 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 RPM. However the interesting characteristic of this motor is the 500 Nm of torque, which is available at just 1,000 RPM. 0-100 kmph is done 3.7 seconds, while 0-200 kmph takes 11 seconds. Top speed is 335 kmph, with the super car returning 6.5 kmpl (not ARAI certified though!). The fuel consumption is 25% reduction compared to previous V12s which have rolled out of Maranello.
The 245/35 ZR 20 tyres at the front and rear along with the massive sized disc brakes ensure the Ferrari FF stops from 0-100 kmph in just 35 meters. This 4-seater Ferrari has been styled by Pininfarina and can comfortably accommodate four adults. The 450-liter boot space ensure you can carry your golf equipment without a fuss, while if you need more space, there is always the option of splitting the rear seats down to make it a 800-liter boot. A rear-seat infotainment system with two screens for watching TV and DVD along with a 1280 Watt, 16-channel stereo system with Dolby Surround Sound ensure the passengers are always entertained, while the driver enjoys the power offered by the Ferrari engine. The Ferrari FF is available in six colours and replaced the 612 in the Italian car makers line-up.
