Once the Volkswagen Virtus is launched, this segment will see more growth

The February 2022 C-segment sedan sales chart, if anything, shows the dominance of the Honda City over its peers. The Japanese brand’s sedan found 2836 new homes last month.

It was Maruti’s Ciaz that came second with 1912 unit sales, while new entrant Slavia from Skoda was third as it registered sales of 1862 units in February.

Skoda must find a way to beat the Camry with its Superb

However, the February 2022 premium sedan sales chart, unlike the previous segment’s list, sees both players finding a decent number of buyers and for the second consecutive month, the Toyota Camry (161 units) did better than the Skoda Superb (99 units).

Skoda’s Octavia does not have a rival at the moment
