Hero Splendor retains its crown as the top selling motorcycle with Honda Activa dominating the scooter segment.
Hero Splendor continues to stay on the first position for yet another month, with Honda Activa and Hero HF Deluxe coming second and third respectively. India’s most selling scooter saw a sales dip of 4 percent. Honda CB Shine sold 261 units less than last month and Bajaj Pulsar series too made a marginal loss of 1 percent in sales.
Hero Passion upgraded to the 7th position from the 10th, with a rise of 42 percent in sales, hence, pushing down Bajaj Platina to the 8th position. Suzuki Access downgraded to 10th position from 8th with 11 percent decrease in sales. Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be in the 13th spot even after selling 8459 units less in comparison to last month.
Bajaj CT didn’t fare well in February as it saw a 20 percent sales dip. Honda CB Unicorn drastically dropped in ranks from 16th to 24th with a negative 38 percent sales. Honda Dream series is the new entry in the top 25 list, with a surprising 522 percent increase in sales. Few 2-wheelers like TVS Sport and Hero Maestro did not make it to the top 25. Another new entry is the Honda Livo which sold 17,914 units in February.
