The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS has been modified extensively to give the motorcycle a scrambler shape. The bike retains the engine and gearbox but has a re-worked exhaust system.

The Bajaj Pulsar is one of the most versatile motorcycle platforms which can be easily modified by a talented set of hands to convert it into one’s own dream machine. Since its debut, the Pulsar has seen countless modifications and tweaks from people who like to tinker with things until they fit perfectly in their own glorious vision of the world. One such talented human is Mr. Mohammad Alaf Khan from Bhopal, who has customised his Pulsar 200 NS to look and feel like a street attacking scrambler motorcycle.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS has gone through extensive bodywork to get the retro-scrambler look. The metal-work and customising include changing the handlebar to get a scrambler feel and redesigning of the seat and the metal gas tank. The motorcycle gets its headlights from a Yamaha RX 100. The mudguards have been made shorter but the tyres remains stock. The motorcycle also loses its tail-lamp and side indicators.

The frame of the Pulsar still remains the same and it is powered by the same DTS-i 199.5cc Bajaj engine. Mechanical changes to the motorcycle include a new exhaust system which the owner claims has given the bike better acceleration and top speed. The air filter has been changed to an aftermarket K&N unit. The total cost for customising this vehicle is said to be around Rs. 20,000/-.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS Scrambler gets a black paint-job and its badges have been swapped with BMW badges which are placed on the fuel tank and on the engine. The motorcycle looks really sinister and is sure to garner a lot of street-cred for its owner. The bike joins the list of countless mod-jobs and experimentation done to the famous motorcycle from Bajaj which continues to inspire the youth of every generation.
