FCA has revealed its network strategy for India and the company will launch new Destination Stores across the country.
FCA seems to be showing some aggressiveness for the Indian market now. The company is setting up dealerships and service centres in major cities of India and these facilities will sell Fiat, Abarth and Jeep brands. The company intends to make sure that all customers have a good experience with the sales and after-sales service.
The first Jeep Destination Store was started in Ahmedabad in September this year. The automaker has now opened a brand new dealership in Mumbai that sells Fiat, Abarth and Jeep cars under 1 roof. This new FCA Destination Store is located in Worli, a place where quite a few marquees have their showrooms. Mumbai also gets a 12,035 sq-ft service centre in Andheri (East) on the Western Express Highway.
Apart from that, Chennai also gets a Jeep Destination Store at Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) and it is a 3S facility spread over an area of 17,700 sq-ft. Delhi also gets a 11,700 sq-ft showroom at Mathura and a 12,000 sq-ft service centre at Moti Nagar. Fiat will also introduce Camp Jeep in India and it will allow customers to experience their vehicles off the road.
