FB Mondial HPS (Hipster) 125 Cafe Racer spotted in India near ARAI, Pune.
FB Mondial’s HPS 125 also known as the Hipster has been spotted recently in Pune, near the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), indicating that the motorcycle might be in for homologation/certification purpose.
Is FB Mondial planning to bring in the HPS 125 to the Indian market then? Well, we don’t have a definitive answer to that question yet. But the motorcycle being spotted near ARAI could very well be a hint that it could be launched in the near future.
For those wondering what FB Mondial is? FB Mondial is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that basically is into making scrambler and adventure focused motorcycles. The spotted model HPS 125 takes the form of a retro styled cafe racer and has been spotted in flesh except for a sticker covering the brand logo.
The spotted model reveals a chiseled tank, flat wide handlebar, round digital instrument cluster and headlamp, brown leather seat, spoked wheels, and a dual barrel exhaust. The motorcycle uses adjustable upside down front forks and twin shocks at the rear. The HPS 125 is shod with 18-inch and 17-inch wheels at the front and rear respectively. The spotted model also features petal disc brakes at both the ends.
The FB Mondial HPS 125 as the name suggests is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that makes 13.41 HP of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. This motor comes matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle tips the scale at 130 kgs and has a fuel-tank capacity of 9-litres.
While there’s no official word from FB Mondial about the launch of the HPS 125 in India, we’re eagerly waiting to hear from them soon.
