As the festive season approaches, car manufactures try their best to lure buyers by either launching a new model, giving discounts or by facelifting their existing car. Mitsubishi decided to facelift the Cedia with a few more features. The front now sports a horizontal chrome girlle which looks quite bad to be honest.
The front and rear bumpers have been extended a little making the Cedia as long as the Sports variant. Side skirts have been added along with 12 spoke alloys (15″) to make the car look sportier.
The rear combination lamps are now clear lens.
Interiors remain almost the same with beige and leather.
Probably the only worth change in the Facelifted Mitsubishi Cedia is the Audio system which is a 2 Din Touch Screen Kenwood unit with DVD player and USB drive with an option of Navigation system and Reverse Camera.
The Climate Control has been badly integrated and seems to be done by the mechanics at Hindustan Motors who service Ambassadors.
The rear center arm rest comes with cup holders. The boot can be accessed from inside the car by opening the lid over the center arm rest.
To sum up the facelift is a bit disappointing. We would have loved if Mitusbishi had given us the front of the EVO X, but instead they spoilled it with the stupid chrome grille. All other specifications remain the same and the price has been increased by Rs. 44,000/- for the facelifted Cedia which isint much taking into consideration the features added but with the New Corolla Altis, Civic and the recently launched City in the same territory i wonder is this facelift enough.
