The facelifted version of the power scooter from Mahindra 2 Wheelers will be launched next week. Mahindra has made few changes to the facelifted Duro to improve the ride quality of the scooter. For example, the Duro features a telescopic front suspension now as compared to the unit link suspension in the older model. The incorporation of the telescopic suspension at the front will improve the ride quality of the scooter by a huge margin and also offer better stability. With the adoption of this type of suspension, the scooter joins the league of TVS Wego and Suzuki Access 125.
A curvier headlamp and a redesigned instrument console will also feature on the new Mahindra Duro. The Duro has a very powerful 125 cc engine which produces 8 BHP of power and 9 Nm of torque. However, the Duro hasn’t really sold close to what Mahindra would have expected it to. But with the new facelifted version coming soon, things might change for the company. We will be coming up with our test ride report of the facelifted Mahindra Duro next week.
