Suzuki Gixxer Performance
The Suzuki Gixxer was first introduced in India over a decade ago in 2014 and since then there have been quite a few updates on the motorcycle. The current generation Suzuki Gixxer has a 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor producing 13.6 PS of power and 13.8 Nm of torque. While the motorcycle only weighs 141 kgs the performance is ample for city duties and enough for the highway as well. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox there is enough torque in the low-end and mid-range to keep it moving without any vibrations.
Suzuki Gixxer Dynamics
Chunky telescopic forks upfront and a mono shock at the rear do duty on the Suzuki Gixxer. The chassis and suspension balance is perfect for a dynamic yet comfortable ride. It gets a 100-section front tyre and a 140-section rear tyre which grips really well and it adds to the overall riding confidence. Also the Gixxer has a seat height of 795 mm which is accessible for a lot of Indian riders and seat cushioning has decent firmness so the rider does not sink in.
How’s Mumbai Nightlife?
The fact the Mumbai as a city does not sleep even at night is really true. Iconic places like the Queens Necklace, Gateway of India, Asiatic Library, Horniman Circle, Colaba and many more offer an amazing vibe. In the scorching heat, going out for a night ride feels surreal. One can enjoy the open roads as there’s very less traffic to deal with. Adding to this, the Suzuki Gixxer’s headlight is one of the best too it lights up the road really well and is suited for riding in the dark.
