Maruti Engage MPV spotted undisguised for the first time
Maruti Engage looks all set to dispatch from Toyota’s Bidadi plant as the MPV has been spotted undisguised. There are some changes on the exterior to differentiate it with the Toyota Innova HyCross.
The Maruti Engage gets a completely new grille that was leaked recently in the patent filings. Now the front-end design is in line with the Maruti DNA with the Suzuki badge sitting in the middle of the grille.
The bumper has also been revised since it has a different look compared to the Toyota. However, the headlights and the alloy wheel design looks exactly the same. Of course you will find the Suzuki logo on the alloy wheel which is not clear in these spy shots.
We don’t expect many changes at the rear profile apart from the logo and the lettering. The interior will remain unchanged offering the same features and colour combinations. You will see the Suzuki logo on the steering wheel and that’s about it.
The Maruti Engage will be powered by the same 2.0-litre strong hybrid and 2.0-litre petrol engine options. It will be sold in limited numbers as only 50 units will be allocated to Maruti Suzuki every month. It will retail via their premium Nexa dealership network.
