The asking price of Ducati SuperSport 950 S is Rs. 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom)
Ducati has introduced the SuperSport 950 in India with a price tag of Rs. 13.49 lakhs and the SuperSport 950 S with a starting asking price of Rs. 15.49 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom), today.
The SuperSport 950 comes in Ducati Red shade, while the SuperSport 950 S will be available in Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk colours. Both get Ducati Red frame and Gloss Black wheels.
Looking like a baby Panigale, the SuperSport 950 comes as standard with LED headlamps with DRLs, TFT digital cluster, 3 riding modes, under-seat USB socket, and an electronic package complete with 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS and traction and wheelie control.
Both models are powered by the 937cc Testastretta 11-degree twin-cylinder engine that puts out 110 HP at 9000 RPM and 93 Nm at 6500 RPM. The motor comes with a 6-speed gearbox and has an anti-hopping clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The SuperSport 950 and 950 S also share the 17-inch alloy wheels and 120/70-section front and 180/55-section rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres.
But, they have differences too. The Ducati SuperSport 950 S’ price is Rs. 2 lakhs more than that of the base model thanks to it having adjustable Ohlins suspension instead of the 950’s Marzocchi (front fork)-Sachs (rear shock) combo.
Braking hardware is from Brembo – twin 320 mm front discs with M4-32 monobloc radial calipers and 245 mm rear disc with 2 piston caliper – which should ensure good stopping power at all times.
