Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP price is Rs. 13.95 lakhs costlier than the base-spec Streetfighter V4
Ducati India has launched the Streetfighter V4 SP for a price tag of Rs. 34,99,000/- (ex-showroom). It’s available in the unique ‘Winter Test’ livery with Matte Black of the fairings, Matte Carbon finish on wings, and Marchesini forged magnesium wheels.
Bookings are now open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, and Chennai, with deliveries starting immediately.
The new V4 SP is the range-topping version of the Streetfighter. It comes with a dedicated livery, premium equipment derived from the Superleggera V4, and a restrained kerb weight of just 196.5 kg, 2.5 kg less than the Streetfighter V4 S.
Its unique ‘Winter Test’ livery has been conceived by the Ducati Centro Stile taking inspiration from the Ducati Corse motorcycles ridden in MotoGP and SBK Championships’ pre-season tests.
The Matte Black of the fairings combined with the Matte Carbon finish of wings contrast with the bright red accents and the brushed aluminium tank. Other detailing include progressive number printed on the handlebar and the Italian flag colour scheme on the carbon wings.
The Marchesini forged magnesium wheels are 0.9 kg lighter than the forged aluminium ones fitted on the standard V4 S and they are capable of reducing the inertia by 26 percent at the front and 46 percent at the rear.
The front gets Brembo Stylema R brake callipers for better track braking. Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 takes care of the damping needs. Power comes from the same 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that exerts 208 HP and 123 Nm.
Power is sent via the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch which offers better anti-hopping function.
The equipment list includes adjustable aluminium and CNC machined foot pegs, carbon front mudguard, the lithium-ion battery, and a range of accessories suitable for the track days such as the open carbon clutch cover and the caps for removing the license plate holder.
The latest-generation electronics package on the Streetfighter V4 SP is based on a 6-axis Inertial Unit (6D IMU – Inertial Measurement Unit) capable of instantaneously detecting the bike’s roll, yaw, and pitch angle in space.
In addition, the electronics package includes ABS Cornering Bosch EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2 (DTC EVO 2), Ducati Slide Control (DSC), Ducati Wheelie Control EVO (DWC EVO), Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2 (DQS EVO 2), Engine Brake Control EVO (EBC EVO), and Ducati Electronic Suspension EVO (DES EVO).
Lastly, the operating parameters of each control are associated by default with 3 riding modes. Any of the control levels such as DTC, DWC, DSC or EBC can be quickly adjusted via the left switch cube.
