Ducati Panigale V4 25° Anniversario 916 launched in India at Rs. 54.90 lakhs only!
Ducati has just launched the Panigale V4 25°Anniversario 916 in India, priced at Rs. 54.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). This edition of the Panigale V4 is limited to just 500 units globally and hence the high price. The motorcycle celebrates 25 years of the Ducati 916 which not only won a lot of races as the 916 SBK but also sold in good numbers.
The Panigale V4 25°Anniversario 916 is based on the Panigale V4 S and gets forged magnesium wheels, Akrapovič titanium exhaust, special livery and a slew of Ducati performance components. The motorcycle continues to draw power from a 1103cc, V4 engine which belts out 214 HP and 123.5 Nm, it gets a slew of electronic aids right from traction control, slide control, power launch to engine brake control, quick shifter, electronic suspension and traction control.
The Ducati Panigale V4 25°Anniversario 916 will be available from October, it uses a lot of carbon fibre components to keep the weight in check. The Italian superbike’s closest rival is the recently launched BMW S 1000 RR which is also a major force to be reckoned with, as its previous generation has long dominated the litre-class segment, beating all its European and Japanese rivals.
