Ducati has launched the Multistrada 950 S with a price tag of Rs. 15.49 lakhs lakhs (ex-showroom) in India, today.
Launched through a virtual event, the adventure motorcycle comes with latest styling, modern technology and a powerful 2-cylinder engine.
According to Ducati, the design of the new Multistrada 950 S combines the lightest elements from the Multistrada 1260 and the 1260 Enduro and presents a thoughtful blend of style and substance.
Built on a solid trellis frame, the bike has a sleek look to it and is quintessentially Ducati in every way, right from its short beak, smooth flowing bodywork, to the sharp tail section.
It does not just look good, but has the latest equipment as well what with full-LED headlights with Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), a 5-inch colour TFT display and even backlit handlebar controls.
Powering the motorcycle that is built for those who like sports touring is a BS6-compliant 937cc Testastretta 11° L-twin engine that puts out a maximum of 113 HP at 9000 RPM and 96 Nm peak torque at 7750 RPM.
It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a bi-directional quickshifter and for better handling, there is a lighter double-sided swingarm and new lightweight alloy wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear) wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres.
To further help keep the bike firmly on the black stuff, the Ducati Multistrada 950 S price gets customers a comprehensive electronics package as well.
There are four programmable riding modes namely – Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Comes with Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo (DSS) electronic suspension, traction control, Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), cornering ABS and cruise control.
Available in Ducati Red colour option, deliveries will commence next week. GP White colour to arrive in 2021.
