Ducati Monster 797+ launched in India in continuation of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Monster range.
Ducati has added another variant to the Monster lineup in India to commemorate 25 years of the Monster brand. Named the Ducati Monster 797+, the new motorcycle is a derivative of the Monster 797 will a couple of upgrades. The motorcycle carries a price tag of Rs. 8.03 lakhs (ex-showroom, India) which is surprisingly the same as the standard 797. Apart from that, the Italian bikemaker also announced commencement of deliveries of the Monster 821.
The Ducati Monster 797+ retains the design of the standard 797 but gets some added equipment in the form of a front visor and a pillion seat cowl. Both the enhancements are matched to the colour of the fuel tank and front mudguard. Ducati has also made the visor and seat cowl available as accessories which would cost over Rs. 30,000/- together. There are no other changes to differentiate the Monster 797+ from the standard 797.
The Monster 797+ continues to draw power from the 803cc L-twin engine that has been borrowed from the Scrambler range. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, this air-cooled motor pushes out 72 BHP of power at 8250 RPM and 67 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM. Feature list of the Monster 797 has been carried over along with its top-notch hardware including Kayaba front forks, Brembo brakes and Pirelli tyres.
