Ducati Diavel discontinued in India temporarily, will be available from October 2017.
After discontinuing the Scrambler, Monster 821 and Panigale 1299, Ducati has now discontinued the Diavel as well as the Diavel Diesel in India. Ducati has discontinued these motorcycles owing to these bikes not being able to meet BS4 regulations.
However we have good news too, Ducati has said it will be launching all these motorcycles except the Panigale very soon. Bookings for the Icon and Classic variants of the BS4 Ducati Scrambler have already commenced and deliveries will start in July 2017. However, the Full Throttle variant of the Ducati Scrambler will be available from September 2017 only.
The Ducati Monster 797 is already on sale while the Ducati Monster 821 and the Ducati Diavel will come with a BS4 powerplant by this October 2017. The Ducati Diavel Diesel, on the other hand, will hit showrooms a little earlier, in August 2017.
Coming to the Panigale, Ducati recently teased what we expect to be the 1299 S Panigale Tricolore – a high-spec V-twin superbike that will be a new version of the Panigale R. Ducati will be officially unveiling this superbike on the 7th of July 2017. So let’s all save the date and wait to know what Ducati is up to with its flagship motorcycle.
