Bajaj has introduced the updated Dominar 400 at a price of Rs. 1.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The updated version of the Bajaj Dominar 400 is being offered in two colours since its launch – Auroral Green and Matte Black. The new Dominar costs Rs. 1.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is offered with dual-channel ABS as standard.
In a new promotional video by Bajaj, Gloss Red and Matte Silver coloured units are being highlighted. Bajaj Auto had previously said that the company will introduce new colours for the new Dominar depending upon the response. The deliveries of the new Dominar have also begun.
The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 gets not only visual but also major mechanical updates. The engine now uses a DOHC setup instead of a single camshaft and makes more power as well. The front forks of the Dominar have been swapped with upside down units. In the new configuration, the engine produces 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is also the only product in the Bajaj lineup to get dual-channel ABS.
Other upgrades include a new twin barrel exhaust, radial front brake callipers, split style design instrument console and a secondary information display, mounted on the tank. The Dominar also gets bungee loops, new mirror design with aluminium stalks.
