Dochaki Designs has modified a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 to come up with the Cobra which is inspired from the famous Shelby Cobra.
Dochaki Designs has made the Cobra Pro Street Scrambler that takes inspiration from the legendary Shelby Cobra. This is the custom bike maker’s own way of paying a tribute. Instead of doing a hardcore scrambler body style, the designers have built a more city friendly scrambler that can be enjoyed on regular Indian roads. The Cobra is based on the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Twin-Spark and gets its engine parts, sprockets and exhaust tweaked for improved power and torque figures. The bike gets hand crafted body panels including a fuel tank that features lines inspired from the Shelby Cobra, side panels, front fender with a scoop like feature and a high rear fender.
The Dochaki scrambler gets a dual headlight, LED tail light, scrambler styled seat customised for urban conditions, racing stripes and pillion grab handles located below the rear seat. There is also the inclusion of a performance exhaust mounted at an inclined position to stay clear off the rough terrain. The scrambler further gets a straighter and shorter handlebar for better control. The bike rides on alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres with big treads.
Coming to the paint scheme, the Cobra gets a custom paint job inclusive of a blacked out engine, exhaust and all other underbody parts. The body panels have been painted black with white racing stripes and are true to the theme. Other design upgrades include a custom made instrument cluster and faux leather striped grips. Dochaki took two and a half months to complete this build which is priced at around Rs. 1.3 lakhs excluding the donor motorcycle.
