Bajaj’s highly awaited model saw its share of ups and downs in the past year with literally countless spy shots, impatient customers and the unveil in Turkey that left its Indian fans disappointed, albeit briefly. Nonetheless, the launch day is just one day away and the everything you need to know about Bajaj’s new flagship will be out in the open tomorrow. Citing the huge demand that will follow the launch, dealers have started stocking up the Pulsar RS 200 that were spotted at a dealer yard with bookings already commenced for a token amount of Rs. 5000/-.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 despite sharing its underpinnings with the 200 NS will be a completely different bike, especially with the new equipment on offer. Not only does the sports bike get a full-faired body but also comes equipped with dual projector lights with LED DRLs and clear lens LED tail lamps. The 199.5cc engine has also been updated with fuel injection that will considerably improve low-end throttle response while power has been bumped to 24.4 PS. Bajaj will continue selling the carbureted version as well as the base variant that also gets a marginal increase in power increased to 23.70 PS. These figures await confirmation as changes could be made for the Indian model.
In addition, the Pulsar RS 200 will be offered with single-channel ABS on the base variant and dual-channel ABS on the top-end variant and is a first for the Pulsar brand, again we await confirmation for the same.
