Bajaj Auto has commenced dealer training for the Pulsar 200 NS. The company has started to call dealers and mechanics to the plant to enlighten them about the Pulsar 200 NS and how it has to be serviced. The training has not finished yet and will be conduced over the coming week as well, our sources inform us. This confirms that the launch is just around the corner and the Bajaj is expected to officially launch the Pulsar 200 NS in the last 10 days of May 2012. The company remains tight lipped about the pricing to the dealers too but an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 90,000/- is highly likely.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is the first model of the next generation Pulsar. It was showcased for the very first time in concept guise in January 2012. Since then, Bajaj Auto has made minor changes to the motorcycle and incorporated minor improvements. The company has also given its engineers the Pulsar 200 NS to test extensively and keen eyed readers would have seen the bike on Pune roads already. The all new Pulsar will be launched in other variants later this year.
The Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 200cc, 4-valve engine which incorporates triple spark plugs. Producing 23.5 a power output of 23.17 BHP at 9500 RPM and torque output of 18.3 Nm at 8000 RPM, the P200 NS has a top speed of 136 km/h. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the Pulsar 200 NS is claimed to reach 100 km/h in just 9.8 seconds. Bookings should start anytime soon so keep an eye out with your dealer for the same.
