Nissan is recalling 932 units of the Datsun redi-GO to fix an issue related to the fuel hose.
Yesterday we reported that Renault has recalled the Kwid for an issue related to the fuel hose. However, Datsun has also recalled the redi-GO for the exact same issue. redi-GO units manufactured until 18th May 2016 have been affected and around 932 units of the small car are going to be recalled.
The faulty fuel hose creates problems with fuel flow and the company will rectify the issue by fitting a fuel hose clip. Needless to say, the repairs will be carried out free of cost. Nissan will start notifying customers of affected cars about the recall in this month itself.
The Datsun redi-GO was launched in India on 7th June 2016 and it is positioned in the entry-level segment. The vehicle has received a good response so far thanks to its competitive pricing. The Datsun redi-GO competes with the Renault Kwid, Maruti Alto 800 and Hyundai Eon.
