2020 Datsun redi-GO has arrived with many new changes and updates.
After all the teasers, leaks and speculations the new redi-GO is here. Datsun redi-GO facelift price starts from Rs. 2.83 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It gets changes on the exterior, interior and new features.
The front profile looks new thanks to the slim headlights, new DRLs and huge grille. The front and rear bumpers have been tweaked as well. There are new LED fog lamps, LED tail lights and new 14-inch wheels with revised covers.
The interior gets substantial changes as well. The new redi-GO comes with revised trims and colours. The biggest addition here is the large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The infotainment comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It also gets rear parking camera with reverse guidelines which is quite a premium feature for this segment.
Datsun is now offering dual front airbags (only on the range topping trim). It also offers front seatbelt with pretensioner and load limiter. Rear seat belts with retractive function is equipped as well.
There are 6 colours on offer with the redi-GO facelift. Two of these colours are new including brown and blue.
The hatchback is available in 2 engine options – 800cc and 1.0-litre petrol. The 800cc engine produces 54 PS at 5600 RPM and 72 Nm at 4250 RPM. It is available with 5-speed MT only and returns claimed fuel efficiency of 20.71 km/l.
The 1.0-litre engine produces 68 PS at 5550 RPM and 91 Nm at 4250 RPM. This engine is available in both 5-speed MT and AMT. While MT returns 21.7 km/l, AMT offers 22 km/l of fuel efficiency.
The 2020 redi-GO is a much more attractive package. It competes with the likes of Maruti Alto and Renault Kwid.
