Datsun has launched the CVT automatic variants of the GO and GO+.
Datsun GO CVT and GO+ CVT variants have been launched, priced from Rs. 5.94 lakhs and Rs. 6.58 lakhs respectively (all prices, introductory & ex-showroom). The CVT is available in two variants – T and T(O).
With the growing demand of automatic transmissions in congested cities, Datsun has introduced first in segment CVT automatic transmission with the GO models. The CVT also comes with low mode and S mode.
We usually see manufacturers putting AMT gearbox for entry-level cars. However, the new Datsun GO siblings are one of the most affordable CVT equipped cars in India. Datsun expects to grow some numbers this festive season with their latest offerings.
Powering the GO and GO+ is the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 75 BHP and 104 Nm of torque. This engine also comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Datsun offers dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors and ABS as standard across all the models. There are no additional features on offer. The Japanese carmaker recently updated the GO models with a facelift that comes with aesthetic updates and new infotainment touchscreen system along with 14-inch alloys.
