Citroen eC3 Shine is the new range topping variant that gets additional features

Citroen eC3 all-electric hatchback gets range topping Shine variant, priced from Rs. 13.20 lakhs (ex-showroom). The electric car was available only in two variants until now – Live and Feel. Have a look at the complete price table of the updated variant lineup below.

The new Shine variant comes with additional features like electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking camera, 15-inch diamond-cut alloys, front & rear skid plates, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

It has an ARAI claimed range of 320 km on full charge, 100% DC Fast Charge capability and a 15 AMP Home Charging option.

The eC3 gets a 29.2 kWh battery pack that powers a front-mounted electric motor producing 56 BHP and 143 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0-60 km/hr in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107 km/hr.

Citroen has made this move of introducing a feature packed variant soon after the launch of Tata Punch EV. The electric vehicle market is growing in India and EV manufacturers are leaving no stone unturned to keep up with the competition.
