Citroen C3 Aircross revealed for the Indian market, launch by H2 2023
Citroen has revealed their fourth offering for the Indian market, the C3 Aircross. The new compact SUV will be introduced by the second half of this year.
In terms of styling lit looks like a grown up and more premium version of the hatchback both from the exterior and the interior. The design language remains the same but the overall look is more mature. It also takes inspiration from the flagship C5 Aircross in terms of styling.
The new C3 Aircross will be available in both 5 seater and 5+2 seater configurations. It is 4.3 metres long. The third row can be removed completely to add more cargo space.
With all three rows up, the boot space available is 411 litres. With the third row removed, it has 544 litres of space available. It comes with 200 mm ground clearance to save the underbelly from the unpredictable terrain of our country.
The French carmaker will locally produce the C3 Aircross in India at the Thiruvallur plant in Tamil Nadu. They have achieved 90 percent of localisation with the car.
It will compete with the Maruti XL6, Renault Triber and the likes. The carmaker believes it will also compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser segment.
