Citroen C3 7-seater spotted testing with heavy camouflage
Citroen C3 7-seater MPV spotted testing in India. The test mule is wearing heavy camouflage and if you don’t notice carefully it might look like the C3 hatchback at first glance. The prototype has been spotted testing by MotorBeamer Pritesh Sethia.
The car looks very similar to the Citroen C3 from the front profile as well as the rear profile. The production version might carry similar styling cues from the smaller car but will get some unique details to differentiate the two products.
The interior too will share most of the elements with its hatchback counterpart to keep the costs in check. Of course there will be additional space to accommodate the front facing third row seats.
The MPV is likely to be offered with the 1.2-litre litre turbo petrol motor which produces 109 BHP and 190 Nm in the hatchback. However, it is expected to be retuned for the bigger vehicle.
The C3 7-seater will compete with the Renault Triber, lower variants of Maruti Ertiga, Kia Carens and the likes. Launch is expected by the end of next year (2023).
