Citroen 7 seater vehicle spotted yet again in India
Citroen is preparing to launch their new 7 seater vehicle later this year in the festive season. The car has been spotted testing by MotorBeamer Vishnu.
The heavily camouflaged prototype reveals some details of the design. The overall look is carried forward from the hatchback. It looks like a stretched and raised version of the C3. However, there are some styling tweaks to differentiate the two.
The front profile gets a different headlight setup and has a new bumper design. You can expect the carmaker to offer a different set of alloy wheels that look more premium. The rear looks very similar but larger in scale with the signature tail light setup.
This will be a three-row vehicle with a 7-seater layout. We can expect it to be roomy inside as it looks quite sizeable from the outside. Citroen is likely to pitch the vehicle against the Maruti Ertiga, Kia Carens and the likes.
It will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine borrowed from the C3 hatchback. It produces 110 PS and 190 Nm of torque in the hatch. Likely to get revised mapping for the larger vehicle. Launch expected by Diwali this year.
