General Motors has just launched the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV facelift in the country with prices starting at Rs. 6.24 lakhs. The vehicle features no changes on the exteriors but gets a new steering wheel with integrated steering mounted controls.
General Motors has launched the Chevrolet Enjoy facelift in India, priced between Rs. 6.24 lakhs to Rs. 8.79 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Having a maximum of eight seats, the new MPV promises to be spacious and comfortable. Mainly offered as a value-for-money proposition in the segment, the vehicle has been updated with a host of new changes making the Enjoy a better product than before, addressing both the needs for family travel and business use.
The Chevrolet Enjoy facelift gets a new three-spoke steering wheel with the signature golden Chevrolet bowtie and silver accents with integrated steering-mounted audio controls. Other changes on the inside include chrome embellishments that are added on the door handles, AC vents, gear knob and parking lever along with a glossy black finish on the door armrests. New leatherette and fabric upholstery provide good comfort for either seven or eight passengers, completing the new interior additions. Flexi-Smart third-row seats can be double folded for up to 630 litres of luggage space and other bits include a tilt adjustable steering, 12V power outlet in the third row, front and rear power windows, power adjustable side view mirrors and a height adjustable driver seat.
There are no changes to the Chevrolet Enjoy’s exteriors except for blacked-out B-pillars. Dimensions of the MPV remain the same measuring 4305 mm in length, 1680 mm in width, 1750 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2720 mm. Everything else remains the same as the previous model and the Enjoy is available in six exterior colours namely beige, silver, black, grey, white and red. The rear-drive vehicle’s main USP remains its ride quality and amount of space offered. Seven or eight seater options are available across all trims including LS, LT and LTZ. It has rear AC vents with independent rear evaporators.
The Chevrolet Enjoy is available with a 1.3-litre diesel engine which delivers 74.8 PS of power at 4000 RPM and 172.5 Nm of torque at 1750 RPM. The 1.4-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine generates 100.2 PS at 6000 RPM and 131 Nm at 4400 RPM. The new Enjoy has ten collision protection beams and other safety features including ABS, EBD, dual airbags, rear park assist, rear window defogger, rear wiper with wash, central locking, speed sensitive auto door lock and remote locking. The standard warranty on the car is 3-years/1-lakh kms.
