The Chevrolet Beat Activ crossover which made its first public debut at the 2016 Auto Expo has been spotted undergoing testing rounds in Bangalore.
The Chevrolet Beat Activ was first showcased at the recent 2016 Auto Expo. The Beat Activ is a crossover which is based on the Beat hatchback and it comes with a lot of revisions to the exteriors and interiors. A funky styling theme is carried over from the exteriors to the interiors.
The Chevrolet Beat Activ has now been spotted undergoing testing rounds in Bengaluru. This is also the first time that the vehicle has been spotted after its unveil at the Auto Expo. The front and rear of the vehicle are heavily camouflaged but the design of the tail lights indicates that it is indeed the Beat Activ.
The interiors of the new Chevrolet Beat Activ are heavily improvised over the current Beat which is on sale. The equipment list has also gotten longer with features like 7-inch touch-screen MyLink infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an all-new instrument cluster, LED headlamps, etc.
The Chevrolet Beat Activ is likely to be launched in 2017 only. It will be positioned above the Beat hatchback and will compete in the compact crossover segment which also includes the Hyundai i20 Active, Toyota Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura and Volkswagen Cross Polo. Apart from this, Chevrolet will also launch the Beat Essentia compact sedan.
