CFMoto has entered India with the launch of 4 motorcycles.
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto has forayed into the Indian market with 4 new motorcycles. The bikes are named CFMoto 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT with prices starting at Rs. 2.29 lakh and climbing up to Rs. 5.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India). The motorcycles are manufactured in China and enter Indian shores via Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits. Partnered with AMW Motorcycles, these bikes are assembled at the company’s facility near Hyderabad.
The range starts from the brand’s entry-level offering, the CFMoto 300NK that gets light bodywork and features such as a TFT instrument console, LED headlamp, etc. The motorcycle is powered by a 292cc motor producing 33.4 PS of power and a peak torque of 20.5 Nm while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It stands on 17-inch alloy wheels and gets front USD forks, rear monoshock and dual-channel ABS.
The CFMoto 300NK looks sporty and weighs 151 kgs. Blue and grey is the colour scheme. It rivals the KTM Duke 250, Honda CB300R and the TVS Apache RR 310 in the Indian market.
Keeping the CFMoto 300NK apart, the 650NK street-fighter, 650MT adventure tourer and the 650GT sports tourer, all draw power from a 649cc engine tuned specifically for each bike. With the 650NK, the engine returns 60 PS and 56 Nm of peak torque, whereas the CFMoto 650MT makes 69 PS and 62 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand the CFMoto 650GT, the sports tourer, produces 60 PS of power and 58.5 Nm of torque from the shared engine. Dual-channel ABS will be offered as standard.
While the CFMoto 650NK will rival the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Honda CBR650F, the 650MT would take on the likes of Suzuki V-Storm 650 XT and the Kawasaki Versys 650. Online bookings through the official website will begin from 5th August.
