The CFMoto 250SR has been unveiled and this motorcycle might or might not be introduced in India.
Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer CFMoto entered the Indian market recently and now the company has revealed its new motorcycle, the 250SR. SR stands for Sports Racing and this quarter-litre motorcycle is priced at CNY 18,580 in China, translating to roughly Rs. 1.92 lakhs.
The CFMoto 250SR does boast of good styling and the attractive design is sure to attract the younger audience. The motorcycle gets twin LED headlamps and is offered in two colours – Starlight Black and Starlight White. The motorcycle has a saddle height of 780 mm.
The CFMoto 250SR comes with clip-on handlebars, 17-inch tyres and 12-litre fuel tank. It also gets a TFT instrument console and two riding modes – Sport and Eco. The motorcycle measures 2010 mm x 750 mm x 1080 mm. It has a wheelbase of 1360 mm. There’s a 292 mm petal disc up front and a 220 mm rotor at the rear.
Powering the CFMoto 250SR is a 249.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC motor churning out 28 HP at 9750 RPM and 22 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The engine is matched to a 6-speed gearbox. There are two variants of the 250SR available – CBS and ABS.
It is unclear if CFMoto will launch the 250SR in India or not. There’s also a possibility that the company might introduce the 300SR in the Indian market. The 250SR, if launched, will give direct competition to the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
