By mid-2019, we would see a new brand, CF Moto participating in the Indian 2-wheeler market.
The 400 NK was recently spotted testing on the Indian roads, more precisely in Hyderabad. This isn’t the only bike that has been spotted in India, previously we have seen the 250 NK, the 650 NK and the 650 MT being tested on Indian roads.
The 400 NK has been designed by Kiska, who has previously provided us with the aggressive looking KTM lineup. The 400 NK has been styled similar to the 250 NK and the 650 NK. The Streetfighter does not get a LED headlight set-up as seen on the 650 NK but gets bulbs instead.
The power comes from a 400cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder DOHC motor that pumps out 40 BHP and has a maximum torque of 34.4 Nm. The nimble and agile 400cc engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Dual-channel ABS will be standard on the bike, with the stopping power coming from a 300 mm dual-piston callipers at the front and a single 200 mm calliper at the rear. The 206 kg weighing bike will sit on telescopic front forks and an offset rear monoshock suspension setup.
The CF Moto 400 NK will be brought to India via the CKD route. With the engine specs, it will battle against the likes of Benelli TNT 300 and the KTM Duke 390. The 400 NK is expected to be priced around Rs. 3 lakhs mark.
