BYD Atto 3 Gets New Variants Priced From Rs. 25 Lakhs

Chinese EV manufacturer BYD has launched new variants of its Atto 3 in the Indian market. Earlier, the electric SUV was available in only one fully loaded variant. Now the Atto 3 is available in two new variants – Dynamic and Premium. A great aspect of this is that the price of the Atto 3 has been decreased by Rs. 9 Lakh. In addition, BYD is also introducing a new Cosmos Black Edition.

The starting price of the BYD Atto 3 is now Rs. 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). The mid-range variant is priced at Rs 29.85 lakhs, and the range-topping variant Superior is priced at Rs 33.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The new base variant, Dynamic, comes with a smaller battery and fewer features. The Dynamic variant comes with a smaller 49.92 kWh battery pack which further reduces the ARAI-claimed range to 468 km. On the other hand the Premium and Superior variants offer an impressive range of 521 km. As for the powertrain, all variants continue to have the front axle mounted single motor set up producing 204 HP and 350 Nm of torque.

As for features, all variants receive a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch touch display, a 5-inch digital driver instrument cluster wireless phone charging, and automatic climate control. It also has essential safety features such as 7 airbags, ESC, ABS with EBDS, and adaptive LED headlights.

BYD’s Atto 3 competes with the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Tata Curvv will also be a major rival.
