The Buddh International circuit has received homologation clearance from FIA. The homologation was cleared today by Charlie Whiting. The first ever Indian GP is now officially scheduled for 30th October, 2011. Mr. Whiting, who is the race director and the safety delegate reviewed the circuit to deem it safe for racing and spectators. FIA guidelines are very strict and there are various parameters which the motorsport federation looks into before giving the green flag to a new circuit.
